2026 Play it Forward Gala

2026 Play it Forward Gala
The Montgomery Sports Foundation is excited to announce the return of the Play It Forward Gala, presented by Bell Bank, on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at the historic Greysolon Ballroom in downtown Duluth.
Following the success of our inaugural gala, we're looking forward to another unforgettable evening dedicated to one simple mission: removing finacial barriers that prevent local kids from participating in youth sports.
Olympic Keynote Speakers
This year's event will feature a special keynote presentation from 2026 U.S. Olympic silver medalists Korey Dropkin and Cory Thiesse, whose remarkable journey to the Olympic podium captivated the Northland and inspired fans across the country. The Duluth-based curling duo made history by earning the United States' first-ever Olympic medal in mixed doubles curling, bringing home silver from the 2026 Winter Olympic Games.
Their story of perseverance, teamwork, and chasing big dreams perfectly reflects the values that drive the Montgomery Sports Foundation every day.
